Professor Lu Tao from China Pharmaceutical University visited our company for communication.

On February 27, Professor Lu Tao from China Pharmaceutical University came to our company for guidance and communication, accompanied by Wang Kelong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Jiangbei New Area Intelligent Manufacturing Industry.

Haizhi Bio introduced to Professor Lu and the park leaders the prospects of the domestic medical beauty market as well as the current situation and development plan of Haizhi Bio. Since settling in the Jiangbei New Area Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in 2020, Haizhi Bio has made significant progress and currently holds fifteen Class II medical device registration numbers. The Class II medical device medical beauty product line has begun to take shape, covering three major product groups: hyaluronic acid, collagen, and trehalose. In addition to patch dosage forms, non-patch dosage forms (liquid, emulsion, cream) are also fully equipped. Since 2022, Haizhi Bio's revenue has increased by 70% compared to the previous year, turning losses into profits, and in 2023, amidst an economic downturn and consumer downgrade, it doubled again.

In 2024, based on further improving the Class II medical device product group for medical dressings, we will officially promote the research and development of Class III medical devices for market launch. With the care of the park leaders, Haizhi Bio has already begun the transformation of A+C class clean rooms and the entry of equipment in another factory building, and Class III medical device products will enter clinical research in 2024.

Professor Lu Tao expressed great interest in the medical beauty market and the research and development of medical beauty products. He stated that the alumni of the university have conducted extensive research on drugs related to medical treatment, and in recent years, they have also been involved in drugs or medical devices needed for consumer healthcare, and even ventured into the cosmetics field. For example, the founder of Haizhi Bio and several key members are graduates of China Pharmaceutical University. The alma mater strongly supports the entities established by alumni and hopes to cooperate with Haizhi Bio in the research and development of new products in the medical beauty field, such as the selection of polymer materials used in medical beauty regenerative preparations, particle size control; as well as the spatial structure and cross-linking process preparation of biological macromolecules. In addition, there can also be cooperation in the research and development of drug-device combinations. Professor Lu Tao hopes that Haizhi Bio can seize the blue ocean of medical beauty, move towards beauty, and ultimately go public in the capital market.

Secretary Wang Kelong introduced that as an advanced manufacturing industry bearing area in Jiangbei New Area, the park closely aligns with the leading industries of the new area, coordinating industrial development and park construction from a diversified development perspective, accelerating the development of equipment manufacturing, medical devices, and digital technology industries, and focusing on the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries under the theme of "intelligent transformation and digital upgrade," focusing on energy conversion, reshaping industrial advantages, and striving to build the "Jiangbei Intelligent Manufacturing" brand, and high-quality construction of the "City of Intelligent Manufacturing." Currently, Jiangbei New Area is carrying out four major actions: "serving enterprises, project construction, research-production integration, and investment attraction." As one of the key enterprises in the park, it also actively supports Haizhi Bio in increasing R&D investment and expanding production capacity. Secretary Wang Kelong also hopes that more alumni from the university will come to the park to start businesses and seek common development.

Xu Liyou, General Manager of Haizhi Bio, thanked Professor Lu and the park leaders for visiting and guiding the company. He stated that he would not disappoint the expectations of his alma mater and the support of the park, aiming to grow Haizhi Bio stronger, deeply cultivate the medical beauty field, and build a professional and efficient team with practical experience and deep understanding in the research, production, and marketing of medical beauty. The five-year plan aims to create explosive products, achieve revenue of over 500 million, and become a new force in the medical beauty industry, with the company successfully going public.
